As we open 2023, the Lord impressed on my heart that HE has given us, BCC, the truth to counter the world’s demonic insanity. Needless to say, we are equipped to proclaim God’s truth when true Christianity is under attack. All this to say, talking specifically to BCC, “We have a Legacy!” Before God, in 2023, we can speak truth to anyone with confidence. At the close of his ministry the Apostle Paul tells Timothy and us, “Preach the Word!” We are always to have the Word on the tip of our tongue. We confidently reprove and rebuke the error and lies presented to us. We lovingly exhort which means to call others to come along side us. Therefore, with this in mind, we are full of patience able to teach.
If you are new to BCC, this is a good place to get more details on what we believe.

Systematic Theology is defined as a branch of theology concerned with summarizing the doctrinal traditions of a religion (such as Christianity). A Christian Systematic Theological view formulates an orderly, rational, and coherent account of the doctrines of the Christian faith. It addresses issues such as what the Bible teaches about certain topics or what is true about God and his universe. There are multitudes and multitudes of volumes written on Systematic Theology. However, the best Systematic Theology ever written are the 16 chapters of the Book of Romans. Therefore, to answer the question of “Why are we here,” and how to face 2021, the Book of Romans is the best place to begin that understanding.

The Bible has much to say about marriage, an institution that it created. In the family is a ‘world in miniature’, where authority and submission, love and loyalty, obedience and trust are learned as nowhere else and with the Word of God as the guide in the home, society will be changed. Today we see this mission achieving success as people embrace Christ. While the fifth commandment identifies the honor due to fathers and mothers, Malachi highlights the need for the father’s involvement and leadership in the family. Both the father and mother are to fully live out their Christian faith in their home so that it is the most natural thing in the world for the children is to trust Jesus with their whole heart.

God has a plan for the world. A design. When we understand God's design, we know who we are and we can cooperate with God, accomplishing great things. But the world is the realm of Satan and hates God's design.

Luke gives us a somewhat different perspective on our Christian faith. Luke is the only non-Jewish author in the Bible with maybe the exception of Job. Not only was Luke a Gentile, non Jewish, he is writing to another Gentile, Theophilus.
