Our Pastor - Teacher

Wallace and Linda were married December 21, 1968. They have two grown children and lovely grandchildren. Wallace began his career working for the CIA from 1973 to 1989. He served as an associate Pastor at Reston Bible Church for 10 years before being sent out to start Broadlands Community Church. He had the privilege to serve in a variety of ministries which helped give him a broad view of church service. However, the foundation to his approach to ministry came from lessons learned through his marriage difficulties which included a two and one-half year separation from his wife. God's training through that difficult time has given Wallace and wife Linda a passion for couples and insight to minister to them. Their heart for the Scripture is steadfast. Their heart for people is passionate built through the difficulties they endured and the experience of receiving God's healing touch

Pastor Thoughts

With the shield of faith we withstand all the flaming arrows of Satan.
The bible says it is imposible to please God without faith.
In the bible we see what faith is all about.  Abraham the man of faith when called went.
He did not just go.  He heard God and then went.  So the hearing and the
obedience combine to manifest faith.  Are you hearing God?  Without hearing there is not any
faith only presumption.  After you hear do you obey?
Without obedience there is not any faith only religious talk.
BE PEOPLE OF FAITH - HEAR AND OBEY.

Our Pastor – Author

Their marriage had
been all but dead...
It’s obvious that whatever they did to restore their marriage worked! That’s why I am excited that Wallace has written this book and so openly shares that story. They lived through a crisis that would destroy most marriages and now are helping other couples build their relationship on a solid foundation while growing daily in love and respect toward each other. This book is a treasure refined out of personal pain, followed by the insight Wallace and Linda have gained through years helping and counseling other couples. Your marriage will be better as you follow the concepts Wallace presents in this book.
—Steve Grissom, Founder and President, DivorceCare/Church Initiative

I highly recommend this inspiring book to anyone desiring to gain a clear perspective on how a husband and wife can practically learn to really love one another. Thanks, Wallace, for your vulnerability and thanks for this vital contribution to thousands of marriages that will experience a healed and healthy relationship by following the truths found in this book.
—Larry Kreider, author and International Director of DOVE Christian Fellowship Int’l
